One day you’ll hear this.
Link’s Lullaby
This tune came through during a moment of desperation. Back when y’all were only months old, when someone didn’t nap and the others were sleeping, our days were much more difficult. Your mom and I would have little moments of respite while y’all slept. The day that this song came about, Linky, you were not interested in sleeping. We were on the couch. I had my acoustic guitar, and I just sang to you. Eventually you did go to sleep. Thank you for that, and thank you the inspiration. You move me brightly.
EP(ps) Vol. 1
These tunes came through at the beginning of COVID. We were locked down. I was searching for connection to Spirit, life, and people. Creativity was my saving grace. My good friend Sekaya made these beats. They had been on my computer quite some time. Sharing this music is an attempt at being vulnerable allowing a sense of freedom to live in my heart and in my gut.
EP(ps) Vol. 2
These three tunes came about in spring 2019. My buddy Paul challenged me to write one song per day for a whole month. These tunes came through during that month. They are pretty raw. Not too much changed from the moment I recorded them in the bedroom of our Brooklyn apartment. It’s honest, and telling of the times. Thanks for listening y’all.
Love.
